Julia has been cycling competitively since 1997. She has raced both on the road and on the track. Her cycling has taken her to many places in Europe and North America. Among her successes are multiple medals at the Canadian National Track Championships including the National title in 2001 in the Points Race. 
In addition to training and racing, Julia works full time as an Associate Director for CBC Television on the National news where she receives much support for her athletic endeavours from friends and colleagues!
Julia is racing for the "Team R.A.C.E. Professional Track Cycling Team".
Look out for her on the World Cup circuit!

I will be racing in several important International races in the upcoming months. All of these races contribute towards Olympic and World Championship qualifying spots for Canada. I will be racing in Australia in December ’07, then a World Cup in Los Angeles in January ’08 and another World Cup in Denmark in February ’08.
I believe that my greatness will only be achieved through the greatness of others. To realize a dream one must have the support of a community of committed individuals. I would like to invite you to be a part of my team.
